I would like suggestions for digital video editing software. I use Roxio easy DVD creator, but couldn't fine the features i want in there. I would like to know which software lets us make beautiful effects on the video clips like we see in music videos etc. (I don't mean transitions or adding text etc.) I also have Nero installed, but haven't tried it yet. Thanks in advance.
There are many packages around and what to choose depends on how advanced you would like to work and how much you are willing to pay for it. I suggest to read this article which lists several techniques in video editing which may help you to make a choice. At the bottom of that article you see also a number of programs mentioned which you could check out.
