Digivox firmware

    I have a Digivox with firmware v2.6
    Can I flash the firmware to v4 and will this make the channel numbers the same as Telew*st?
    Sorry if this seems a stupid question but I'm new to this....

    i would go for v2.8 instead as a few probs with v4 posted,ver.4 numbers start 101,102,ver.2.8 start 1,2,3
