digivox remote control sensor

    can the sensor on the digivox for the remote control suddenly just stop working? has it happened to anyone?

    I'm a lover of these boxes and know little about them but as you havn't been answered as of yet I would advise if out of warranty to first of check the remote by pointing it at a either a digital camera or a mobile phone then look through the display of the cam/mob then press and hold any button on the remote and see if the led on the remote flashes, if it doesn't the remote is at fault.

    If the remote is fine take the lid of the DV (with the power off) and check to see if the plug from the remote sensor to the board has worked loose, I have seen this happen with other boxes.

    yes digivox remotes do suffer if u need a new one skywonder do them.
    is it exactly the same as old one?
