hi is he using it in chorus mmds? theres 4 boxes on the market now, i.e. digivox-t, eurovox tv, db500-t & the box-t. Zemme
It looks like some dealers are not able to differ between ntl mmds and chorus mmds. There is no chorus mmds in Dublin.
N*L MMDS - Dublin, Galway, Waterford, Ch**us the rest. Generally this is correct, but not universally - there are certain areas of Dublin (Swords, Malahide, and Dundrum) served by Ch**us.This is all for historical reasons and shouldn't matter so much now that the company is all UPC.
There is no chorus mmds transmitter receivable in Swords independently of all historical reasons. If a bloke is testing dvb-t in Swords he can get only the irish DTT trial from Three Rocks.
Look at the last post here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055063222 it is old and has been updated since, but it shows that there is MMDS in Swords. My brother in law lives there and he is also on MMDS. I respect your knowledge but these are the facts.
Sorry wrong link we are all human http://www.enn.ie/article/9956706.html . This could go on but local knowledge is best and so thats my final word on it.
Right and mmds for Swords and Malahide is ntl mmds and not chorus mmds. After all the month in this forum you should know the technical difference.
You didn't understand the technical difference between ntl mmds in dvb-c and chorus mmds in dvb-t. Ntl mmds is in use in Dublin, Galway, Waterford and county Mayo. Dvb-c need a cable box and dvb-t a device with dvb-t tuner.
