digivox-t help, hopefully last time

    alrite lads. i'am living down by macroom on the cork side. have my box set up with the right firmware, have the channels list downloaded and have the relavant things turned on eg emu, antenna etc. i have the long range aerial set up on top of the house(which is a bunglow) tried pointing it every where but keep getting no signal. i use ch*r*s as the provider, can anybody help me. tried flashing the box a few times. please help

    Is it an original provider aerial?
    If not the frequencies will be different as far as I know(depending on the spec of your aerial) and you will have to scan a large range of frequencies to find how far apart they are. I could be wrong but from what I remember it is.

    that box will say no signal untill the box does a full scan and has channels stored,also when your in the installation and the auto scan menu check provider id(it may be set to 5401,if so change it to 5e01 thats chorus id number,wont work without this)and if you know some one with a box that works for definate try and get it and hook it up to your aeriel as a test or try your box in a mates house.
