digivox-t problem

    i have my box connected to my pc using the serial port. the computer doesnt seem to be able to pick up the box. what do i do

    If using vista, it probably your lead/null modem/driver for lead.

    are you sure your selecting the correct com port
    check it in device manager

    alrite lads back again for more help. i have flashed my box with the right program v3300, scanned for the channels and nothing. i have done everything that is needed to be done. have emu on, set the time. i am down towards macroom area i have the areial with the down coverter set up. the areial is in the attic, would that matter? if ye need more info let me know, cheers

    Aerial in attic could be prob. It needs to be in direct line of sight with mast.Also no splitters (to start with-to ensure you are receiving signal). Aerial will work upto 30 degrees off centre

    right thanks for that. on my box now there is CHDL being displayed and cant get rid of it, whats happening there. thing is driving me crazy
