hi having trouble instaling software on box it keeps telling me fail to update flash any help would be great thanks in advance

OR did you but it ??? if it came with your box its the right one if not you may be using the wrong type it must be crossed wired for flashing are you using VISTA ??? if so they said on this site to use XP (thats the operating system on your computer) go to a friends house if you dont have it you may also be using the wrong firmware ver3.300 22DEC 2008 is what you want you may have the divivox XL and thats wrong hope thats a help to you... read more on this site... believe me its all here... there is great help here... thanks for that i have all the firmware and using the leads that came with the box it the 2007 model silver and i am also running vista so u think this might be the prob thanks again for ans my query
it might be (some people on the site said so i read it) you might need a driver for VISTA there is no harm in tryin XP (i used XP np problems) run the downloader search for the file have it all ready to go then connect the box to the computer turn it on wait a sec or two press download (software) look at the front of the box it will start going 01, 02, 03, 04 etc it will stall at 92 thats OK then stall at 98 thats oK too then 100% then your finished (flashing the box anyway) T
