digivox updates

can anyone help
i updated my digivox to version 2-8
but it take awhile to update
it that normal

it takes about 5 to ten mins much slower than the eurovox

 

usually less than 2 mins,unless it hangs on 0% update,u need to give it a nudge try ch 66 and u should see it moving,or power off then on works

 

Hi all, looking for advice on updating digivox software/firmware. Followed the tutorial to the letter, but when i run downloader 10, select the bin file (i'm trying to load v4000)and try to download, i get an error message "fail to open com port". Any suggestions?

 

1. Go to the Start Menu
2. Right click on "My Computer"
3. Select "Properties"
4. Click on the "Hardware" tab
5. Click on "Device Manager"
6. Click the + sign next to "Ports (COM & LPT)"
7. One of the listed ports should indicate which port your connected to (e.g. COM1, COM2, COM3, etc.)
8. Go back to your map software program that you use to transfer data and make sure it is looking at the correct port.
9. You should be able to transfer data once the correct port is selected
