    Can someone please tell me what firmware i need to install for my digivox xl 'black' model. I tried v4200 something but didn't work!!! please help!!! :)))

    Its the 240 api you need.

    i have tried that one but it never completes the full flash it says failed, but i dont know if that is because i tried installing the version 4200 by accident, is there any way of reboting the system back to its originall settings??? dont know why it isn't updating fully,might be because of the 4200 version i put on it??? pls help

    Its actually the 1240 bin file which is 290 kb, You should find it around.

    just before completion of flash, my box says CHdl any idea what that is??? can you restore the box back to its factory settings???

    i would suggest flashing with v1220,having done a factory reset first,reboot then flash with v1240.scan ur provider and emu to on.

    any idea how to do a factory reset because i cant even get it on the tv now, all it says is no signal,can you send a thread for v 1220 on? this i drivin me mad

    bad flash,load the downloader with v.1220 box powered off,press download and power box on.u might have to do it a number of times to overcome problem.
    click the eamos library link above under des name and remember xl digivox only.

    i just downloaded v1220, seems to have worked, upon downloading v1240 it gets to cmd send and then the flash fails, any idea????

    the best way to flash boxes are null modem cable,pc with xp and com port.other ways and problems occur.

    Where can i get v1250 is that for the XL box?

    Is that the main problem though? I flashed v1230 on then when i tried to flash v1240 it failed without downloading at all just freezes then says failed

    any ideas?
