Digivox xl firmware

Hi folks
Need a bit of divine guidance,allthough i think ive blown it.
I have a all black xl,which has been coping well with the latest changes with a little help!
Today i have tryed to update to the latest firmware,having brought the correct cables etc.Downloaded, downloader 10 all ok.and what i thought was the correct firmwarwe version for my box.
The flash seemed to go well,However i am left with a box which now only has a display showing CHdL ,and a remote that does nothing.and it refuses to acept any further flash updates etc.
I guess ive knackered it,any ideas

if unsure,reflash with older firmware,and then with latest firmware from eamos library.....make sure you reset the factory settings after,and rescan again...its problem just that the flash didnt go well..retry and let us know how it went...

Your idea has worked,dont quite know what i did for sure but it seems to have worked.
Does anyone know what is the latest firmware for the all black xl.is it the one dated 30/11/08 AU FIX,OK?
Whats the AU stand for?

Back again folks
Downloaded the latest firmware for the Digivov XL.and flashed ok yesterday 2/12/08.
Today however lost most of the expected channels.
with a little investigation i found Area, KEY 00 and KEY01 had all reverted to FF.
Is this something i need to correct?
I had thought the new firmware would auto update keys etc
