Hello, A friend of mine has a Digivox XL in Macroom area of Cork. He has cable Ch**us installed (not the ariel). When I get him to scan for channels he doesn't find any ?? I live in Dublin and have no problems in scanning, but when I show him the same way over the phone he cany find any. He is doing an auto scan on ch**us. Not sure how chorus is set up but he say's he has a cable going from the wall into a transmitter, and a cable going from the transmitter to the cable box from Ch**us. He's tried using the cable from the wall into the Digivox, and the cable from the transmitter into the digivox, but still finding nothing. Any help much appreciated. Cheers
What symbol rate is he scanning on? Is he sure it is true cable and not mmds? Symbol rate for chorus is 6875. Try scanning on that.
Hi Guys, I've been away for a while, just comming back to this problem. I've tried to scan on 6875 using the different frequencys, but still nothing, he has the coaxial cable going into the cable input socket. Everything is the same as I have in Dublin, but not finding anything. He definitly has Chorus cable installed. Is there different symbol rates for chorus ?? Any help much appreciated. Cheers Hamroll
