I have an old style setup at the house I'm living in, NTheLL square aeriel on roof and the entry point in the living room leading into a downconverter then to the box (big grey Pace one)
I use a dbox2 at my normal home but don't want to try it here as I always forget to back up the channel lists or something stupid and spend ages here browsing for solutions, made worse by the sister and aul one complaining they're missing Eastenders!
A friend has a digivox xl he's offered me, would that work with the setup here?
I'm confused with the MMDS and cable references, the connection used to be C4blelink MMDS way back in the day and when it was switched to digital the guy came out and put in the downconverter and new box so don't know if you call it MMDS or cable now.
I'm fine with flashing and updating and all that kind of thing, just wondering if the dbox2 or digivox xl would work, I'm not sure about the whole dvb-t dvb-c thing and if or how its relevent.
Finally, if neither are suitable have you any ideas that might work?
    Thanks,
    McL
