Hey everyone.. Hoping someone can help me out here, will try n be as clear as i can...

I have a DJ playing software, with this software i can build a playlist and put AUTO DJ on and it will mix fade each track into each other thereby creating one long MP3 file. Now, before i got my lappy, i could direct record to Adobe Audition using this, but now audition says it doesnt support direct recording because my sound card *Realteck High Definition with EDS* doesnt have ASIO?? whatever that means lol.. Now the question i have is, do i have to buy a new sound card or will another program such as wavepad do the job for me? I dont want to start getting new softwares etc, if its just not going to work period with ANY software, however i dont want to buy another soundcard just in case its Adobe that has the issues.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    wooop

Vista? You could try Total Recorder. It's a 'virtual soundcard' and can record anything a real soundcard can play.
