I read in many forums about Direct X10 found in Vista, but what I dont understand is what version is used to play games that can only use Direct X9, such as TDU unlimited, which when compared to XP is simply unplayable in Vista. So my question is, I heard something about the Direct X9L, whatever that is, and so is this what's used to play games supporting only Directx9 in Vista? If yes, why does it slow down games? When I run dxdiag, it says Directx10 with no mention of anything else. Oh yeah, and why does Nero 7 enhanced ask to install Directx 9c in Vista to work? Does this mean I have all three versions in Vista. Thank you for your potential responses.
usually a product will come with direct x on it which should allways be installed no matter what your current direct x version is. btw i have many games for xp and i use vista and they all work proberly.
