I have a Directv DVR hooked via Optical cable to Sony STR-DG500 Multi Channel AV receiver. Some of my Premium channels, show the "speaker icon" Dark(no Secondary audio) and bright(secondary audio).I've watched say movie "Taking Chance"(2008)in DTS,Dolby Pro Logic 5.0,when my blue lght comes on,indicating the surround sound.I go to another channel, identical movie, showing same icons, and no blue light.Directv,Tech didn't know what I was talking about.I saved "Taking Chance" to my Directv DVR and on One Premium channel it will play in the Surround sound(Blue light on),but on another ,NOT.Any Ideas?

I thought I had explained this, in this thread:

Not all channels broadcast in surround. Those that do, only broadcast in Dolby Digital. TV does not broadcast in DTS. For DTS, you need the dvd or blu ray.
