Specifics of what media you use, and even the burner type would be helpful. Cheaper DVD-R seem to produce the error message on my xbox, while TY is ok. That may be your problem.
Perhaps your burner has issues with that brand of media, that could be causing flawed burns which would clear up by finding a more suitable brand.
Most people already burn from xISO, but if you are using UDF and burning files, that can also cause dirty disc errors on -R.

My personal method is to use good +R Taiyo Yuden discs from supermediastore, burn xISO with nero, and bitset the disc to DVD-ROM. If bitsetting +R is not supported by your burner you should really find the media that works best with both your burner and your xbox. Go to videohelp.com to find a great searchable database of burners and media and what works with what including xbox. Search for your burner and see what pops up as the better brands and formats.

a simple question is did you open your xbox and clean your disc drive? compressed air works and usualy fixes DD (dirt disk) ERRORS. other than that u may b able to replace the dvd drive.
