What is the model number of your router?

Hrm, if you've followed the instructions from the manual and still cannot get it working: I would suggest you contact the d-link technical support and ask them directly.

    sorry.

why do you want to disable the firewall? What problem are you having specifically? Port forwarding might be a better solution depending on what your problem is.

If the box is greyed out and you can't get it functioning, maybe you should hit the reset button on the router or change/update the firmware

If it's queued, it's waiting in line to download. Just let it sit there for a while (a day) and I'm sure it will begin downloading eventually.

yeah, you want to port forward. got to the P2P forum, they have a sticky on how to do that. or just use the search function on that forum for more info. That way, your P2P programs work better, but you still have the firewall functional for everything else.
