Well, I have been burning fine and now all of a sudden I am getting an error "Disc-at-Once". I made sure the Plextor is set to DMA mode (whatever that means, saw it on another thread that had Disc-At-Once error on a NEC). Did a Plextor firmware upgrade. Still no good. Can do the DVD Shrink 3.2 thing fine but when trying to do the final burn with Roxio or Nero, I get the Disc-At-Once error---HELP!
Having both Roxio and Nero installed at the same time isn't always the best idea. Their drivers can conflict. Uninstall Roxio. Also if you have Nero InCD installed, uninstall it and then download the InCD Clean Tool from the Nero site for whatever version (6 or 7) you have and run that. Just google Nero incd clean tool. Post the last section of your Nero History that begins: ===== Nero Burning ROM Nero History ======= program seial number Delete the serial number and your name (if present) before posting. The files located in the path Program Files -> Ahead -> Nero -> NeroHistory.
Weird--I can burn fine on my wife's laptop using Nero and DVD Shrink 3.2 and I'm not even running ANY DVD on her laptop but have it on my desk top that won't burn and gives the error' Disc-at-Once??
