I get this error when trying to burn A Mini DVD-R (Ridata RG04), I decided to burn this mini DVD with nero express and nero burning rom choosing the Iso Image directly, it burns ok at 1x until its writing the lead out, after waiting 20 seconds to writing to the lead out the drive goes to a higher speeds(I can hear it) and I get this error, plus my mini DVD does not supports those speeds and the dye gets melted in the process.

    Here is the log:

    You have the Sony 710A?

You need to put the most recent firmware update on it, I had a 710U (same as 710A) updated the firmware and it work great ever since.

    visit sony's website.
