I know what CPPM is but it's causing me big problems.
I have been attempting to write DVD-A discs using Minnetonka's DiscWelder Chrome. I have compiled the discs myself from stereo 44.1/16 bit .wav files, using DVD-A simply for the benefit of high disc capacity.
I set the CPPM key settings to be as relaxed as possible ie. allow infinite copies etc.
However, when I try to play the completed discs in PowerDVD 6.0 a small pop-up appears, stating that it's 'retieving CPPM key...', followed by another pop-up telling me that an error occured and I should connect to the internet before trying again or cancelling.
No matter what I do with my fire-wall (including dropping it completely) or how many times I retry it fails. If I click cancel it then informs me that I must 'activate CPPM later' before I can access the protected content on the disc. It then loads the menu screens but refuses to play any audio.
    Shop-bought DVD-A discs play without a problem.
I've tried to contact Minnetonka and Cyberlink for help but with little or no success (a pre-written and irrelevant response from one and no response from the other).
I just want to check that it's not user error on my part before I start demanding refunds, so any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the lack of response mean that no-one can solve this problem, or have I broken with some form of forum etiquette?
