they are talking about when they download from limewire and the file is finished it says "Disk Problem" right?? see that's what happened to me but when it says that i thought well maybe i have to have more space on my hard drive so then i just deleted unneccessary files/progams/folders that i didn't use or need anymore than restart my computer and limewire would work fine again.

Delete any unnecessary data from your HDD, as you could be running low on disk space.

I also suggest you defrag the HDD and give it a virus/anti-spyware scan.

Look in this forum for more details.. http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/166

Well for every one out there when you defag your PC dont do it in the middle of a thunder store when the power might go off because if the power goes off during a defag it corupps the system 32 file wich windows uses to boot! The only way to fix this prob is to do a PC restore wich deletes everything off the HDD! I knoww this is off subject but wonted to get the info out because I have experianced this first hand and it sucks!

So what exactly are you trying to say there, Domreis... that one shouldn't defrag their HDD? I am sorry that you had issues with power supplies and whatnot, but you shouldn't discourage someone from defragging their HDD, as it is a necessary operation.

I was just saying that its not a good idea to do this while you are in the middle of a thunderstore (like I did)! Even though I had this problem I have my computer still set to auto defrag every mounth!

Well, it was foolish to defrag your HDD in that situation, but be careful what you say, because the impression you gave with this post..

is that defragging you HDD will cause major technical difficulties - which it doesn't.

No harm done, but people look up to Seniors as guidance, so be sure to give correct advice.
