I have my GC modded with a Qoob Pro chip with the latest BIOS (qoob_13a). So far all backups play fine except 1 (Mario power tennis) I am playing the game and the disk just stops spinning after about 2 min. So if I pause the game or if it has to load some info, the game will just freeze. I have to open and close the lid for it to spin up again allow me to continue my game. I have recreated my backup.iso and reburnt my backup but it did not solve the problem. The original disk works fine. What could be causing this problem ? Could the original disk have scratches that cause the backup to not be 100% ? I am using GCOM to create my backups

I searched but could not find an answer, please help.

    Adjust your pot.

I had a similar problem where that game would have very slow load times for the main menu. Once I adjusted the pot, it worked perfectly..

You really think its my pot ? All other games and backups work 100% on the exact same media. I do not get any DRE or slow load times.

Well, in that case, it's just a bad rip.

If everything but that work flawlessly, that's the only reason I can think of as to why it isn't working.

I burnt my backup toa TDK DVD-R disk and it works. Strange that it would do that since all other backups worked fine on the other media I was using.
