I have the full verison of Anydvd and I have a trial version of Clonedvd. I tried to burn dvd movies like Bambi II and Madagascar and I could not burn them. Can anyone help me with this problem!!!
try Ripit4me......works pretty good with a combo of Dvd Decryptor an Fixvts an its all one button with dvd shrink so you might wanna try that out.....
Hi armyoo7 AnyDVD and Clone handle both of these - used at least AnyDVD on both. Is your problem in the actually burn stage or while Clone is encoding? Error message? Using AnyDVD version 6.0.6.1?
it is during the clone encoding stage, when it just starts to do the beginning of the movie it stops and goes to trying to repair defective DVD structure. Then it says "oh No" and comes up with a Unexpected Error Please be sure that all input files are avalible and that they represent a properly mastered DVD. NavagationPack 6 615 7 5 VOBU 4 615 7 Clone 6 TCE The same error come up at the beginning but instead of Clone 6 TCE it says PictureReader
Ok - make sure your using the latest version on AnyDVD 6.0.6.1. Try the ripper part of AnyDVD. Rip to your hard drive then open those files in CloneDVD. If that doesn't do the trick then try b18bek9 suggestion - RipIt4Me. Have AnyDVD turned off 1st. Here's a guide w/ links to download: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/360110
I just bought a Disney DVD that has Escape From Witch Mountain and Return to Witch Mountain on the same DVD. AnyDVD considers the second movie a problem and removes it, so it is no longer there for DVD Shrink to backup. DVDFab Decryptor doesn't seem to remove all of the copy protection, because DVD Shrinks buffer fills up while trying to backup either movie from the file created by DVDFab Decryptor. Going to try Ripit4me next. Wondering if there is any way to stop AnyDVD from blocking the second movie.
I just use ripitforme now if AnyDVD doesn't do the job. I just got Fast and the Furious Tokyo drift, had to use ripitforme. I use it, then I use the FixVTS. Then I use CloneDVD on the Clone DVD tab and burn from there, it still has everything the original does. If you use Copy DVD titles, on the CloneDVD it won't do it right. I mean it will play but you have to use the skip button, b/c the auto play feature don't work. So just do it the way I said and it works great!!! CHEERS!!!
Oh yeah to add into the last msg I put. I forgot about the DVD Decrypter, Use Ripitforme first, then when it asks for the DVD Decrypter, open it, it will auto start. Then wait till done. Click out of Decrypter, and abort the ripitforme. Then run the FixVTS, find the DVD movie you just saved in your harddrive, and the Video_TS. Click on the first one in there, and then click Full DVD. It will auto do the DVD movie for you. Once done, exit FixVTS, open up the movie folder and the Video_TS folder and delete the backup folder. It will be a yellow folder. After that, open your burner, and burn the movie like a regular DVD by opening the DVD movie folder and clicking on the Video_TS folder. If you use CloneDVD, don't use Copy DVD titles, it won't work right, just use it like youi do a movie, just Clone DVD and open the same way as top and burn it. CHEERS!!!
Thanks for the help. I updated DVDFab Decryptor and was able to complete the backup. I was also able to do it with ripit4me, but it was a bit more of a hassle. Had hoped AnyDVD was going to handle everything. Planned to buy it tomorrow when my trial ran out. Now I'm not sure.
anydvd is well worth the money ,the freeware works well also just depends ow much time you have which in my case isnt much so i opt for clonedvd 2 and anydvd it worked for all the movies you all are talking about
AnyDVD does not seem to work with DVDs that have more than one main movie on the same disc. It filters out everything except the first one. It doesn't matter if you use it with CloneDVD or DVDShrink or whatever else you might want to use. Since AnyDVD has already removed the title, you have no way of backing it up. So far AnyDVD has worked on everything else I have thrown at it except discs with multiple movies. I may still buy it simply because on most discs, it saves me the step of ripping it to disc before reauthoring.
I couldn't use it with disney movies, and also I couldn't with the new fast and furious movie, nor with Silent hill. They wouldn't burn with AnyDVD and CloneDVD
then you DON'T have it setup right i did all these movies with anydvd with NO problems. heres some guides to help you out http://bbmayo.home.comcast.net/ http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=72022
Perhaps you are backing up Escape to Witch Mountain and Return From Witch Mountain from seperate discs. In this case I'm sure there would be no problem. Mine however has both movies on the same side of the same disc and AnyDVD is discarding the second movie as though it were copy protection or something before CloneDVD or DVDShrink even come into play. I don't see any option in AnyDVD to uncheck with regards to "Jump to Main Movie" or "Jump to Main Title". I believe you are referring to an option in DVDShrink or CloneDVD, but as I said, AnyDVD is removing the second movie before it gets to that point, so any settings in CloneDVD or DVDShrink are mute points. I was able to successfully backup both movies using DVDFab Decryptor + DVDShrink. For my part I have successfully accomplished my goal. I am merely pointing out a weakness in AnyDVD in the hopes that they read this forum and can identify and correct the problem in a future release. Unless there is some hidden setting that will prevent AnyDVD from stripping the second movie as copy protection, filler or whatever it thinks that second movie is, I will have to go another route on these discs. Either the Ripit4me bundle or DVDFab Decryptor.
In AnyDVD go to "Settings", "Video DVD", uncheck the jump boxes. Since the weakness is not in the program, it must therefore lie elsewhere.
Ok someone explain to me whyI could burn Disney movies, Brother Bear 2, madagascar and Bambi II, nor I could burn Silent Hill and Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift. What do I need to do with AnyDVD and CloneDVD 2 to make them work?
