When watching a DVD with Media Player Classic, I can't seem to view subtitles. I've made sure that I'm using the VMR9 option, and I check the "Enabled" option in the navigate menu under subtitles. I've played the DVD with VLC and Nero Showtime, and the subtitles appear just fine. What am I missing?

    I'm running Vista Ultimate ...

    Thank you.

    rhpt,
In Media Player Classic, click Navigate, Root Menu, and finally go to your DVD settings and then enable the subtitles.

The subtitles will not appear even if I have enabled subtitles on the dvd.

Better yet, trying Installing K-Lite codec pack, it comes with VobSub, latest version of MPC, plus all the necessary codecs to play 98% of video formats out there:

    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm

Make sure when you install, you install Haali Media Splitter/Video Decoder, after install, open up MPC and set your renderer to Haali's "Renderless".

Try your subtitles now, should work.
