    Hi!

I have a JVC GR-DVM76, and I'm trying to figure out how to convert from VHS to DVD via my camcorder. I am VERY new at this, so I plugged in the DV OUTPUT to my VCR and the other end to my camcorder. However, I still cannot see the video on my camcorder. I think it's because my camera cannot distinguish that the DV needs to act as an input. Is there any way to make it so that it will work? Please help! Thanks!

Well Look at the Manual for your Camcorder and it should tell you how to enable the "Passthrough" feature....

You would Generally hook your VCR"s RCA Outputs into your Camcorders RCA Inputs and then Hook the Firewire Output from your Camcorder to your PC....

If you Happen to have one of this VCR"s that Has it"s Own Firewire Output then you do Not need a Camcorder as you can hook the VCR"s Firewire Output directly to your PC....
