I have a DVP642/37 (philips dvd player) that plays DivX Mpeg video files on it. I've tried to play some files on the player and they have audio/video sync issues. When I play these files on the computer they play flawlessly with no problems, but when I burn them in data mode to a CD-R or DVD+R for playback on my DVD player most, not all have audio/vido sync issues.
Anybody know how to fix this?

Got some details of the files? audio format, sample rate, interleave settings, etc.

I looked around and found out how to get the info needed using GSpot.

The video is an .AVI file. The codec used is DivX 5.0. Interleave: 75 vid frames (2502 ms) Audio frames: Split across interleaves. MPEG-1 Layer 3. 44100Hz 128 kb/s total (2 chnls)

    Hi,

I have the same issue too. All files that play good on the computer seem to have audio video sync issue. I am not very sure of whats happening and not able to determine a solution. There are a couple of them which play without any sync problems. Can anybody help please?

    Thanks
