Divx Avi Burning

    Hey how can i just burn the divx avi movie onto a cd-r with cdrwin or ez cd creator i just want to keep it there so i can watch them later on my computer i don't want to do the vcd conversion thing rite now_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Life is too short, use your own eyes, open them yourself, and enjoy your own life.[/small]

    Eh...just burn it - there is nothing to it then!

    do i burn it as a data cd? and i got one more question for .rm (real media) do i jus convert them to .avi and do the same?

    .avi .rm, .wav. .mp3 all multimedia format directly playable by a computer can be saved as any other file (simply burn the files on a CD!). You will have a standard PC-CD ROM, 1 data Track, MODE1 format.

    You need to do exotic things only if you want to use the CD you create in other devices (CD Audio player, PSX/PS2, DVD and so on).

    With EZ CD Creator it is very easy: just drag-and drop the files you want to burn. With CDRWin it is more tricky, you have to
    1) select 'File backups and Tools' then
    2) select 'Backup files directly (on the fly) on a ISO9660 compatible disc' from the drop-list menu
    3) browse the file/directory you want to add then press 'Add'
    4) make sure you have selected the options Disc type CD-ROM, Data Type MODE1, Finalize/Close Session.
    5) press START
