You'll need some DVD authoring software. Most DVD burners come with some pretty standard easy-to-use DVD authoring software for beginners. I think Nero comes with one, and also Cyberlink has one called PowerProducer I believe. If you want a bit more customization, an excellent package that handles all the conversion for you is DVD Architect, though it's a step up from the previous software. Costs $$ though! The next step up would be something like Adobe Encore, or if you are using a Mac, there is a very powerful DVD authoring tool that is top notch (the name escapes me at the moment). Costs more $$ though!
Hi there, That's because you are using the Free Preview Version v0.5.2b VSO DivxToDVD v1.99 Pre-Release will: - Convert all your internet movies (.AVI / .MPG etc..) to DVD Format - Add subtitles (using .srt files / More formats to come in future releases) - Add chapters to each files - Create a menu (Menu entry for each file, based on the filename, for now) - Burn your DVD creation to media, with it's own built in burn engine
Nero Vision Express will do the job for you. Converts the avi file, add menu & chapters as well as adding additional soundtracks if required. Ulead DVD Movie Factory is another programme as well.Cheers
thanks for the help guys will be looking into your suggestions and the cost implications over next few days. Es
Hello, I have tried NERO 6 and 7. Yes, it does the job you want. In fact, I consider NERO 6 or 7 (latest) Ultra MUST HAVE program. It does so much, you would be surprised. I have used it for creating a menu, putting my own picture as a background, ets. I have not tried it for the full job yet. That is why I am not 100% sure that "it will do the job for you" as Teddals said. I expect you will have to use it to do what you want, sort of editing. NERO is regularly on sale, if you wait for a few weeks you will get it cheaper. Good thing about NERO that it is linked to Shrink. I do not know any other program which is linked to it. For example, ROXIO is not. Good luck! Roma
