divx error

    after i convert then burn at 92% of the burn i get a error says illegal request lba out of range this is on copy to dvd i do not know what this error means or if there is anything i can do please help

    copy to dvd is a problematic exercise in my opinion. Forums are full of this error message when using the program. Can you use a different program for burning like Nero or DVD Decrypter to see if that solves the problem. Do you by chance have a lite-on burner? Maybe using different media will help as well. I would burn with a different program first. Also use a -RW or +RW disk until the problem is identified to thwart coaster manufacturing.

    ok how do you use dvd decrypter does it convert then burn or what i have no idea how to do any of this

    Under DVD Decrypter's Mode menu select ISO---WRITE

    Select the name of the image file created by divx to dvd by clicking the small folder icon to get a file open dialog box and then burn.

    I'm assuming divx to dvd generates an image file. If not then use Nero to burn the folder of video files that divx to dvd generates. I don't use divx to dvd so I can't be more helpful.

    Wow another one .. still related to avi/divx to dvd.
