divx file has sound using vlc but after converting from divx to dvd no sound what am I missing

    Movie plays fine on vlc backround music and character voices, but once I convert using divx to dvd converter and burn to dvd disk, pop in dvd player all I get is picture and music no character voices. What am I missing. Thanks

    Are the converted files saved to a folder before burning.
    If you play the files (in the output folder) are they ok.

    Try another converter (like DVD Flick) and test the output on the PC before burning to disk.

    The movie was saved in my downloads, it is a mpeg-4 it will play fine when it is in my downloads file using vlc, but once I convert it to using divx to dvd I then save it to temp dvd, video ts and try to burn using 1click dvd picture is fine and backround noise and music but no chactar voice's.

    Convert it with DVD Flick and test before burning.

    hello, i've uploaded files to my shared drive, u can download the required files and can create SVCD in an 700mb disk after converting them....there is step by step instruction in the word doc there u can go thru it and do it....all the best, need help email me at suresh_krishnan1961@yahoo.com
