DIVX HD & Xbox

Hi Everyone

Don't know if I'm in the right forum but here goes:

I've downloaded some official Divx HD trailers, which came in .avi format.

If I convert them to dvd with AVI2DVD software, will they still be in HD format & will I be able to view them on my softmodded xbox.

 

You can send the .avi files to your Xbox's HD and play them w/ XboxMediaCenter

Will the quality be better than playing through a normal dvd player?

The xbox will be connected with the hi def pack.

 

The quality should stay right around the same, unless you have a really expensive DVD player.

 

Some TVs will effect the quality. I noticed HDTVs tend to be a little more easy on the eyes when it comes to my xbox movies but I've never seen the quality get incredibly worse.
