i have divx codec installed, it worked for awhile, but when i play ba ck an avi file now. It will work but when you skip through the file it will have a paused frame from last before i skipped but the sound where i skipped though would still play. I used to have ace mega codecs pack installed on my old computer. I had several issues with it. I was wondering if there is a way to have a stable install for all codecs installed on my computer with no issues? please help!
Try VLC, a media player that supports playback of nearly all AVI files without the need for codec packs. If video file is unruly in VLC, then install FFDSHOW.
