divx prob. -unknown exception caught? how can i fix this?

    i got this file by bittorrent and i put it on gspot and it is an avi but whenever i tried to play it on the divx player, a box pop up and said that the file cant be open and this: aviplaymodel:parseVBR()unknown exception caught. does anyone know how to fix this?
