hi, i have been using dr. divx 1.0.2p and the divx pro 5.1 codec to successfully convert many dvd's to divx!! recently i got my hands on spider-man fullscreen edition dvd so i ripped it to my hdd !! now when i open the vob's in dr. divx, it detects only 38 min. of audio and when i choose no audio and start encoding the movie, it says time remaining for 1st pass is only 2hrs. (otherwise it took me 9 goddamn hrs. to convert the ring to high quality divx using dr. divx)!! i played the full ripped movie using powerdvd 5 and it played fine!! pls help me guys!!
Well does it encode the video without sound or does it stop audio and video at 38 min. If the second is correct although I don't use Dr. DivX I imagine the problem is that you haven't selected all the VOB files. One DVD movie is stored in more than 1 file. With PowerDVD selecting the one should work for all of them while it might not work with Dr.DivX. Why did you post two times?
