Hi all, I used DiVX to make a DVD copy of a film taken from the TV, and sent the disc to friends in the USA ( I am in the UK ). The disc plays back in their DVD player, but there is a reported 4 to 6 second delay on Audio.
Can anyone offer any reason and solution for this?
    many thanks

I assume it was an NTSC disk that was burned (because a lot of North American standalone players cannot handle PAL) was it ok on your PC and is it ok on their PC?

It was OK on my PC, stand alone player.
When it was played in the US, the video worked OK, but the sound was delayed.
I used DiVX because it is region free.
Previously, I did burn a DVD ( not DiVX ) and used NTSC, but that totally failed to play at all.
    Thanks !!
