Try converting the file with this.
Play the output files to check sync.

    http://dl.afterdawn.com/vsoDivxToDVD_setup_v0.5.2b.exe

Import the file(s) (AVI, WMV,MPEG, VOB)
Output (standard DVD file format) to a folder on the HDD.
Set 'Aspect' to 4:3 (if you have a regular TV)
16:9 if you have a widescreen TV.
Set 'Standard' to NTSC (if you live in North America)
(PAL if your in the UK)

Load one file then load the second - just check that they are loaded in the correct order.

When you used DVD Flick did you try to combine two AVI files into one stream? If so that's the reason you might have gotten out of sync audio/video, because sometimes the audio will overlap or loose sync after the break between the two files.

Just add them as two separate titles and set DVD Flick to automatically play the next title, that way it will still playback continuously and your audio/video will be in sync.

VSO cannot combine 2 files into one stream like DVD Flick.
