Is there any way using VirtualDub or TMPGEnc to keep the aspect ratio from a DiVX encoded avi? When converted to VCD, the aspect ratio is skewed and the results are frames that are too tall (distorted images).

I think that the setting should be under the "Source Aspect Ratio" in TMPG. But what should it be set to?

    Any help would be appreciated.

As stated in our guide (articles section...) set it to 1:1 VGA and it should keep the aspect ratio correct.

m.dongle try using other settings and setting video output to center (keep aspect ratio)
