divx total pack

    i have windows xp so when i tried installing it the programs on my computer intercepted it and discouraged me to install it, should i install it anyways, i wanted to install divx total pack cuz i'm a newbie at these stuff and want to take the easy way out help plz...

    Easy way out with a codec pack?
    I don't know about this codec pack but it's hardly an easy way out. Especially if you don't know what you are doing.
    For viewing movies just install ffdshow and ac3filter.
    If you want to encode movies in mpeg-4 format install xvid (and divx) codec.
