DIVX Video Output like Thumbnail

    I downloaded "the hills have eyes" yesterday. Used ashampoo to convert it from AVI to divx...but i got the shock of my life..the final video size (not resolution but the physical size) was like a thumbnail??? What did i do wrong? It will increase once i view it on a TV but 65% of the screeen is just a black frame.... Pls advise

    is that a typo?
    avi to dvix?

    i used to get this problem with the free version od dvix2dvd (buggy),but only not as small,and that was when i was converting to dvd
    using the updated version of convertXtodvd solved this
