divxcodecupdatechecker.exe safe?

    Hi

    My zonealarm message popped up saying divxcodecupdatechecker.exe wants to access the internet. Shoul I allow it? divxcodecupdatechecker.exe seems kind of long so I dunno if it's safe or not.

    BTW, I downloaded the divx codec/player.

    If you are using Divx and told it to look for an update (may have automatic updates enabled). Yes, it is safe.
