Dixv quality changes?

    Just when I thought I had it...I am creating divx files using VirtualDub with Divx Pro 5.0.3. Man they look great for 95% of the movie, however for a random 5 or 10 minute section is all goes to crap. Looks like a bitrate of 100.

    I have tried multipass and still looks bad. Please help, I have been trying for days.

    Im assuming the movie youre encoding is pretty dark. The 5.03 version has a problem handling very dark scenes and it has so many other bugs, id suggest upgrading to 5.05, it has many of the bugs that 5.03 has fixed, and the quality is better even at 1-pass the quality is excellent.

    I tried several different movies so I don't think dark is the problem. It only happens for a very small portion of the movie.
