Ok, so i burned hostage onto a dl dvd+r and after i burned it i tested it and skipped through every chapter on my dvd player to make sure it burned right. Now, halfway through the movie it just freezes, i cant skip past the scene or anything. Is this when the dvd switches layers or soemthing? Is this a problem due to bad media(dynex)? And y did it work and first, and then not work?
What speed are you burning, what prog are u using, are playing on standalone or pc? Yes, it could be bad media. You could dnld DVDInfoPro (free) and post findings on your media. Never heard of Dynex so it's probably cheaply made.
I am playing it on standalone, dynex is ritek, burned at 2.4x, but my assault on precinct 13 was just fine on the same media, did a test with dvdinfopro and it was just fine. Havent had time on hostage, but ya, i dunno. Guess i just bought 30 dollars worth of coasters...lmao.
