    Good Morning:
I am backuping copies of some dvds. I am using DVDDecrypter to create a disc image and Imgburn to burn the DL DVD. The disc verifies as completed successfully. They will play on my PC. When I attempt to play them on my Samsung DVD-HD850 the disc freezes at points during the film. I have included a copy of the Imgburn log below. If the problem is my dvd player are there suggestions for brands and models that play DL dvds without problems? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried ripping with DVDFAB first? DVDdecrypter is outdated and can't handle the newer encryptions.

Those code out as Verbs azimov.

It looks like you're booktyping to DVD-ROM and using the right program and media combination.

That almost leaves your player as the culprit. Although you may try slowing you're burn speed down to 2.4X and see if that helps. At the cost of DL discs i doubt you want to waste any, so maybe try a friends standalone player first and see if it plays ok.

I am ripping and burning +R DL disks for a while now I am using the Sony DVP-NS57P player to watch them. Make sure your DVD player is capable to play DL disks. Not all players will play DL disks. Also stay away from Memorex +R DL disks, I have no such luck with those disks.
