Hi everyone, I'm using dreambox 500c but cant lock into any channels. For the manual scan I have been trying a range of frequency's. I have the symobl rate set to 8 (see below) <transponder frequency="**" symbol_rate="000008" fec_inner="3" modulation="3"/> I still cant channels, even the test channel. My line in is perfect, I can see the noise ratio coming up... i even tested the box on another cable but still no lock! Any ideas?!
Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately that didn't work either! I'm using DM500c Frequency - 323, 312, 296MHz ... plus many more Modulation - 64QAM FEC - AUTO Symbol Rate - 6875 USE ONIT - No USE BAT - No I have tried a combination of these settings with three different image. I am receiving a signal to noise ratio reading so there is feed coming in! Could I just be getting the wrong combination of settings?! I'm in limerick city! Any advice appreciated...
Go to manual scan and try 00322, 00323 and 00324 for the frequency. You have to type the 2 leading zeros. Same for the symbol rate. You have to type 06875 at the menu with one leading zero. Enable additionally network search, BAT and ONIT.
Thanks again for the suggestion Mgb17. No luck though! Tried settings (incl. leading zeros), and nothing! Its a little strange... I cant even pick up the test channel, RT€1. I'm stumped!!
Hi, Things have changed somewhat since my last post, I made some real rookie mistakes . I now have a DM600c, which is working perfectly to a point. I can view about one third of channels. I cant view movies, sports or rte 1 and 2. My manual scan configuration is as described. Constellation 64 qam Bandwith 8mhz Coderate ½ Guard 1/32 Transm mode 8k Coderate 2/3 And i have tried these frequencies 274.000 282.000 - 9 services scanned 290.000 298.000 306.000 314.000 322.000 347.000 339.000 355.000 363.000 371.000 378.000 386.000 394.000 410.000 426.000 444.000 All help really appreciated! Thanks in advance!!
Switch to a working channel, go to manual scan, enable network search BAT ONIT. Let all other things unchanged. Start the scan.
