i have a dm500s and im nearly sure its a clone but looking at the at the picture showing clone and original inside and everything is same as original and the mac address on bottom sticker is same as original and the dream mulitimedia holagram but the box is the black one can anyone shed some light on its a clone or not thank you
As far as I'm aware they are all clones for that model now as they are no longer being made. I have 2 DM500c's here and they also have all the legit markings but they are made by others.
out of interest, why would you care. The 500 clone is equally as good as the original. you can load any available 500 image onto a clone so it really makes no difference. there are issues when you come to the more expensive boxes as to whether it is a clone or not but the 500, be it clone ot not, works fine
