This version is said to contain some bugs. Uninstall this version, run clean tool from this link http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install this version http://www.nero.com/nero7/enu/nero7-up.php You could try burning at 4X
I tried burning at 4x and it failer too i also installed and cdr/rw burner to see if i could burn cd's with it. So I could try to locate the problem. The music cd burning proesses resched 97% complete then failed to. I will download the update it will take me a while as i am on slow dailup. O how I wish high speed internet was available in me area.
I looked up this part of the error code: and one of my tools just said "Blank Check"?? So, I checked another listing, and it gave a little more info. I think that has something to do with the simulated burn, but im not sure. Ive read it over a few times, even added some puncuation, but it still gives me a headache trying to read that.. And your DMAs are ON like they should be according to this log. CRC errors are related to reading a disc, and that usually means a scratched or dirty disc. Change the DVD target size in Nero or Shrink to Custom 4300 and you wont burn to the edge of the disc. If that, and the nero update doesnt help, try different media, like Verbatim, or Taiyo Yuden. The riteks are OK, but its worth trying different media.
Download the nero update the was able to burn a dvd burnig an nother right thanks for the help. One more question. I wanter to burn some files to a dvd-rw today the porblen is that nero whont let me uncheck the finish option and when I enable it under the options menu it it doen;t save the setting. when I open up the options tab agin the check mark is gone on the box next to the fuction tahat enablse turning off the finish disk task
