im newby. bought this unit used. got manual online. cannot get sound thru hd or playing dvd movie. if i turn the sound up all the way i hear very faint audio. am i missing something in the setup or do i have hardware problems. thanks in advance jim
Assuming it's wired correctly to your sound card, check to see if the source of the sound is selected correctly. If you right click on the volume control in the system tray, open volume control, first change it to the record view/ not play (click advanced) try to set it to the different possible inputs while it's playing, with luck the volume will increase when you hit the right input.
