hi all ..... i can record perfectly to hd and play back ive never had the 99 code but when im trying to record from the hd to a disc thats when i start to have problems. the one problem being disc not recognised even when i have used these in the past(maxell dvd-R) this is the only disc i have ever been able to use in this machine all others have a error message of disc not recognised or unrecordable disc.... the second being on finalizeation of the disc i get (finalization unsucsessfull) help ... many thanks andy
Is it the same batch you have always used, or a new purchase ? Make sure you update the firmware for newer media. Try Vebatim 16x... I rarely have failures with them.
hi thanks for the reply's. i will try some other discs and as for firmware how do i do this ? im ok with computers .do i download from the internet and burn to disc then install in the 85h? if so have you a site i can get the fimware from ? many thans andy
