Ok my order will be here by 3pm tomorrow and my ps2 is fully dissembled and ready to go.......someone please tell me this is an easy set up .......i have heard stories that people have had their ps2's not work afterwards.....id rather not have to spend another 150 bucks cause i mess up my ps2......would it have been better if i purchased the regular dms4 solder one?
In just about all of the cases of people messing up their console, it was installation problems. Installing the chip won't be a breeze. Read over the installation manual before you begin installing it, and take your sweet time! The people I know who got the chip working perfectly all said they were extremely cautious and took more than 3 hours to install it. I hope it works out for you... I just ordered my PRO version and will be receiving it sometyime next week -Tony
Take your time and try not to rush it and follow the install manual and you shouldnt have any problems
