Hi, the relevant thread I'm refering to is here:
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/7/610541

But I'm just wondering if it's possible to DMZ my PS3 that's connected to my laptop? For example, my PS3 is connected to my laptop, and my laptop is connected to my router. I want to DMZ it so that I can get NAT 2. For some reason, I keep getting NAT Type 3.

I can get NAT 2 only if i connect my PS3 to my router directly.

    Thanks in advance.

Ok, so far. I have managed to get both PS3 and laptop (ps3 -> laptop) connected to the router. However, I have 1 problem... when configurin the network on PS3, it says UPnP: Not Available. How can I make it available? I already enabled UPnP on my router.

If I use the ps3 -> router route, I get UPnP: Available. But if I use the ps3 -> laptop -> router, it says Not Available instead...

Anybody else knows if it's possible to DMZ PS3 throu this route?

Think you'd have to put your PC in DMZ.

Just port forward to your PC and then disable firewall on the NIC your PS3 is connected to - should work.

Why cant you have your PS3 connected to your router?
